I have nothing but positive things to say about my interactions with Scott. He is very professional and put together a great website. For our project, I wanted something that was contemporary, yet professional and Scott achieved that with his design. We received countless positive remarks on how informative and user-friendly the site was. I attribute a great deal of the success of the race to the overall quality of Scott's website.— Ben Garner, race organizer
When a group of students at the University of Maryland organized to plan a 5k run to benefit the Wounded Warriors Foundation, they quickly realized the value an all inclusive website would bring to their project. They collaborated with Scott and within weeks had a full feature, professional website with all of the features required for a successful race including online race registration and donations. The look and feel of the website was kept clean and easy to navigate while incorporating graphics created by other members of the team. The site is hosted on Scott's server to save costs and valuable time leading up to the race.
The race would not have been possible without encouraging local businesses to sponsor the race. A Sponsors page was added where the business' website and logo would be included. The website added value to the business' sponsorship and helped facilitate the necessary funds for the race to be successful.
Leading up to the race, students and adults in the College Park community used the website to register for the race and indicate what size shirt they preferred. A custom report page was available for other members of the race team to manage and organize the registered runners. All in all, over 130 people registered for the race online and over $4500 dollars was raised for the Wounded Warriors project. After the race, the results were incorporated on the site in a sortable, searchable table so each racer could quickly find out their time and standing.
