Scott was called upon at the end of the 2009 school year to give Atholton's website a cleaner, more professional look. Scott was able to produce an easy to update, customizable site within 1 week. By properly using CSS to separate content from style, the new site is easy to change and modify by other people. Scott flexed his creative muscles when he used Photoshop to create 3 banner images. Utilizing javascript, a random header is displayed to the user each page visit.
The website left behind by Scott uses best practices in front–end development. This ensures that even though Scott has left the friendly walls of Atholton High School, the site has a continued life because future maintainers and developers can pick up where Scott left off.
It’s rare that a project has such a tight deadline, but Scott can produce high quality websites quickly. He does not take shortcuts or sacrifice quality. Instead, tried and tested open source frameworks and content management systems are used to drastically decrease the time it takes to go from great idea to even greater website.
